I had a golden bucket, filled with stars that glow.
Then I ran to your arrival, and I kicked it with my toe!

They flew around like fireflies, covering creation:
The sky, the trees, the mossy Earth, in celestial celebration.

The smallest snail was gleaming, the mountains draped in lace;
But none these glittering wonders were as rich as your sweet face.

Now I keep my precious stars where I can hold them close and dear.
They live in the love I have for you, so they'll never disappear.
